Find the part numbers then just google/eBay. I remember getting the black grills for about 2-300

Are BMW still clearing these with good discounts? I’ve been looking around for a while but starting to get close to ‘needing’ another car and these are getting to the top of my list...

Almost all the new stock has been sold, so it is pretty hard to find one. I think there are a couple of demos remaining which you could get a good price on.

Heard the same from a couple of dealers I contacted today, so does seem like that's it...

JWM - What are you looking at exactly and what is your budget? Pure or normal? manual or auto?

Hey gents

I'm in the market for an M2 - but having been out of the car game for a while (5 years driving the company's Commodore), I'm a bit behind in terms of what's out there.

I know the M2C is just starting to arrive on our shores, but apart from the really nice sports seats, I don't really care for the rest.

I'm looking to get a super low-mileage (ie less than 20,000kms) M2 for hopefully under $70,000, or brand new/ex-demo for under $80,000.

Is there any chance of getting this through a dealer at all? Or will I have to troll through the private sales ads?

PS - this is business purchase so purchasing through a dealer to get GST claim is ideal.

Dealer stock I understand is getting smaller by the day. I don't think you'll be able to get new for below 80k but going by the experience of others I'd say mid/high 80s could be possible.

Second hand values seem to be holding steady at the 70+ range.

There are quite a few under 20000km for mid 70s at dealers... I'm sure you can easily get it to 70k

Are you looking for manual or DCT? I'm selling my manual LCI privately with an invoice for GST. It's a little more than you wanted to spend but it's also more powerful than an M2C and better looking

Check out this BMW M2.

I'm only looking at dealers in NSW, as I'm based in Sydney. I've never purchased a car interstate before. Maybe the process is the same, I don't know. But part of me always prefers to physically inspect a car before I buy it.

I didn't. I had a sale fall through a couple weeks ago due to finance. So I've decided to remove the ad and just enjoy the car (driving very slowly mind you) for a while longer.

Why do we think there are so few LCI's for sale at the moment? The only ones for sale are blue or white. Theres hardly any grey or black and the very few dealer examples are rediculously prices, as in high 90s!

The dealers are definately dry at the moment and private sellings are having a laugh 80% of the time.

The very few properly priced private sellercars are all LBB...guess i have to keen waiting...

I expect prices are seeing a little surge at the moment now that dealers have cleared old stock and the M2C is still new enough that discounts will be very limited until there is a heap of stock sitting around. Not to mention it's higher starting price.

I'm sure prices will be 10k lower in another 6 months.

Has everyone seen the carbon kit BMW is offering with the M2C now? $16k pack fitted. Apparently a saving of $7k. Thats gonna be one expensive M2, and it still won't have a carbon roof.
