Not until Leipzig factory renovations are complete, will be a while, and even then it still may not be offered.
I feel like if you find the right dealer with the right relationship with BMW you could get the option to do one of the other colors already available on the 2 series for the individual price. I mean they already support those colors at the factory on pretty much the same body.

It ain't working that way. It's "nein" for as good as everyone.

Sounds to me to be simpler than trying to get a) something that isn't currently available, nor a foreseeable future option, or b) having the car repainted (never as good as factory original finish) or wrapped.

Buying the M4 instead of the M2 is as easy as calling your dealer and saying "changed my mind, and now I want IC also". Pay the difference. Done.

Essentially, that's how one dealer explained it to me - you have to request the color, the dealer has to approve it, then they ask BMW...

Really good points...

I do have to admit, that seeing HS in person really sold me on the color - I think it's really dynamic and special (and going to be relatively rare).

But I can understand how people would want more color options.

I’m glad you said this - I was starting to worry - silver isn’t normally my Jam but White most certainly isn’t - so when a lot of reports of it looking white cropped up I was getting nervous..... why did they get rid of the mineral grey

First look at Frozen Orange Metallic on the Z4 M40i at Pebble.

i tell you what I would have paid $$$ for.....

M2C in British Racing Green w/ silver 763m's.

And if I could get that with Cognac Dakota leather stretched over the comp seats and dash, i'd probably raid the kids' 529 plans if need be.

I think i saw that British Racing Green was offered on the M6 Gran Coupe at one point. Maybe BMW has a few gallons leftover. For $5k I would have been all over that.

If anyone is offended by this, i'm OK calling it Bavarian Forest Green or something non-antagonistic to the purists.

So far, my biggest complaint about the M2 and M2C is interior colors. The interior is where inspend my time and I dislike black interiors.

My old E46 M3 in Carbon Black had an orange leather interior. That was a beautiful combo. My E92 M was not as unique but the interior was a blue grey. Black is just so boring and cavelike to me. I do like that there is some interior color on the M2C but I would like some more options.

I actually never completed my M2 purchase partly due to the interior and partly due to the fact that I discovered 997s. Im seriously contemplating the M2C. Very limited exterior colors and not much to speak of in interior colors.

No updates on those, but looks like there will be another Individual color, Fire Orange with some areas in Jet Black, and this one is named Turbomeister after the BMW 2002 Turbo Hommage Turbomeister Concept. Two cars are planned. I'm not sure if these are part of the same special edition as the Frozen cars.

Nice find. Interesting how these individual M2C are getting Jet Black roofs, instead of the carbon roof.

Any source on that? Why would they build two?

Actually, this Turbomeister doesn't have a black roof. I skimped through it at first and assumed it is black as the Frozen cars, but looking at it again, it is not black. Some upper parts are black. Guessing it going to look something like this
