Apparently they land 19/9 with 10 days for the painters and dockers to do their thing. That triggered a flashback. Die Yuppie Die. Let’s see if anyone remembers the 80s. |

Anyone else who already has a M2 feel like maybe they should wait to see what the M2 CS will entail? I like the idea of the CS, but pricing may be silly based on M4 CS pricing.

At this point I'm happy with my M2 LCI.... will move to either the M2C &/or M2 CS if pricing matches benefits. Problem is the current M2 is such a fun car.

I am probably biased because I have already ordered an M2C, but based on the Aus pricing of the M4 CS and our ridiculous LCT I wouldn't wait unless you are whiling to pay ~$130-140k for an M2

There are a couple of reviews that points to the M2C being less fun in a way because of the on and off nature of the S55. We as F80 owners know this compared to the smooth delivery on our M2. So I hear ya! But for the right price I will get the M2C.

If it comes with carbon roof and some of the other carbon parts, I’m willing to do it for $130.

I reckon the 130-140 as above would be the target price and would need the carbon roof, hood, fenders, brakes, suspension and different wheels for me to be interested. While we are at it water injection
For me it would need to be more of a CSL than CS to be worthwhile. Isn't the CS speculation US only at the moment?

I would also expect it to be very expensive.. with all the lightweight stuff they put in it, it's borderline going to be too extreme... and it might turn out to be pretty average like the M4CS. Think M2CS for $140-150k+ there are much better options out there.

I'd also lean towards paying a little more for RS5/c63 or wait till 2021 for new M3, which you might lose that pure driving experience but they're a lot more car than a $140-150k+ M2

Driving any Audi has the same enjoyment as having sex wearing 5 condoms. There’s only one Merc worth contemplating and that’s the AMG GT which is wonderful. But then you are in Aston Martin territory. The only other car I would consider at this price point is the Alfa Gulia Quadrafoglio. But that’s a bit too scary an ownership proposition. M2C is an absolute bargain and the best thing BMW has done since the 80s. That’s why I bought one before they were on sale. Here’s my money. |

AMG GT is best bought used. They don’t hold their value well at all! Alfa...yeah I would love to try one but like you not to own one. I think it will drive me nuts. Audi - I had a RS3 recently. It was fun for awhile with that noise and the speed off the line, but geez you get bored with the one dimensional driving experience real quick! But having said that I won’t count a RS4 out as a potential family lugger one day perhaps out of necessity as the kids grow up. Their mum already has a slightly slower version of it and they are wonderful family cars. If I can only choose one car that can do it all? M2/M2C. If I didn’t have young kids? A Carrera T.

Well you have kids. They just all have their own junior M and RS themselves lol. And yes, that’s why you’re getting the Carrera T and I’m not!
