Thinking about m4GTS DCT coding as, despite weird shift behaviour in slush mode, clamping pressure of dual clutches is increased by 10-15% - which is a good thing if upping the ante in terms of remapping etc as DME output responses rely mainly on load controlled inputs.
However, keen to hear from folks who may have had F8X CS DCT flash instead wrt shift behaviour etc....

I don't know if it's just me, but it feels a bit slower on the downshifts, at least when going WOT from 7th. On certain turns at the track it seems sluggish around 2-3, usually at that point I'd have to manually shift just to stay within an optimal power band.
Whether or not this is due to the larger density core I'm running, thus taking a bit longer to supply the boost pressure needed, I don't know, but for what it's worth, I liked the GTS flash for certain aspects. Prior to that, on a long straight away, the upshifts would give me the jerk reaction, but the GTS transmission smoothes the shifts way more. Makes it more controllable on the track.

CS should be a good compromise between ZCP and GTS
Feel free to PM if anyone needs to do this remotely.

With GTS software, I think upshift is ok. But it's just way too lazy to downshift. You have to aggressively apply throttle for downshift, making a much less responsive car.

thanks for feedback - is lazy downshift in auto mode or even in manual mode too ? Might wait for M2Comp DCT SW although "F87CS" is showing in ISTA+ BP

I want to figure out if there is a way to retrofit the buttons other M cars have to set the shift speed as you please instead of having to deal with the modes. Seems like it would be possible somehow.

Has anyone flashed the GTS/CS TCU tune using MHD and can report back? I’ve got MHD Stage 2+ (98RON) tune installed with cold start removed.
