Nobody knows for sure. It's never been attached to anything on any of our cars.

Ok so today we went back up on the rack. I loosened the clamp that holds the MPE to the Stock Exhaust and slid it forward. The cut on the original exhaust was not square and too long so we trimmed it back square with a sawsall. I the clamp back on, pushed the pipes together and tightened it. Looks correct now. I think the port just cut the exhaust quickly not paying attention to detail. Hopefully this is the final fix.......
