Does anyone have the part numbers for Mperformance brake pads
Hi guys
Have searched but not found the answer. Does anyone have the part number for the pads? My dealer said they weren't on his system. |

The M2 "M Performance" brakes are just the calipers in a different colour.
So parts system doesnt show brake pads by them as they probably use the regular ones. Or are you looking for the track only pads from BMW? S4007 compound

Thanks for the info guys. Yes I did mean the track only BMW pads. My mistake on the M performance, I've had that in my head since they launched the M performance video and showed the track pads in the video.
No wonder no dealer could help. Quote:
@marcusfva you sir are a legend. At those prices the ferodo ds 1.11 are what I'll go for. I'm a Spa in April and for everyone I know it's a huge braking circuit so would like more bite and more than two laps at a time. |

I have been informed that even though they use these pads at the MP center in the US they are not available for purchase here. If anyone overseas has to order in bulk, I am sure you can sell several sets here....put me down for one !

Too bad I hadn't seen your message earlier : I ordered the DS2500 in the meantime (just received).
The shop where I bought them (the best brake expert of Belgium) recommended me to actually keep them both for street & race use. Apparently they are not too noisy, they brake even when not too warm ... Otherwise he strongly recommends me to clean the rotors carefully at every assembly/disassembly with brake cleaners and some sand papers to remove the pads wear traces on the rotors and also a good bed-in. Apparently when you use race pads, they leave a thin layer on the rotor that aims at improving the braking even when very hot. That layer needs to be removed... |

I dont know what to believe for Belgium : I can't find the MPerf pads anymore on the BMW/MP accessories website. I called a nearby BMW dealer and had to chase him before getting a quote for ref 34112284765 that do not mention "M Performance" sold 450€ for the front pads only (394€ for the rear). Not sure that it actually is MPerf, and they have no clue neither

Mosa-Frein is a good reference...they are also the importer for Belgium of AP racing brakes. Never bought from them directly, but they know their brakes!

At the end of this month I will fit Endless ME-20 + steel linings + other brake oil... I wil keep them on the car after my visits on the Nurburgring and will test how they behave on the street. Time will tell and a conclusion will follow in the middle of april.
