Love the color. I also love the grey and black too. But the LBB is what really stirred our drink. It's funny all the stares and turned heads that we have been getting in the short time we have been driving it. I think it is mainly because of the LBB. Of course, we are the first M2 in Eastern WA and probably east of the Cascades.

That's a good point. The tires do have mold release on them from the manufacturing process that takes a bit to wear off. I had about 40 miles on the car when I tried that turn, so, it definitely could have been a factor. The nice thing is that I take that corner several times a week so I'll be able to judge whether they are getting incrementally better.

Yes. Don't trust tires until you wear off the slick and heat cycle them a few times. Which, in this weather especially, you should do carefully

Dropped my M2 off at the XPEL installer today. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow around 1-2 PM since it's suppose to start snowing here around 3 PM.

Yes, I picked it up yesterday just before snow started falling. Had the full hood, front end/fenders and mirrors done in XPEL Ultimate. It came out great. Kudos to Autoshades here in Kennewick for dropping everything to finish the job early for me.

Just the M Performance Exhaust! My CA told me the VPC had the parts in stock so we don't know what the hold up is.

Maybe something like that happened to you.
Called BMWgenius after seeing this post last week while I was on a business trip. When I inquired based on what you're telling me, they couldn't confirm nor deny what was really happening. They told me the estimated delivery date was 12/06/16, so they were really confused what was taking so long. He issued a complaint or something and told me to call back in a few days if there's still no activity.

The frustrating thing is that there were two other M2's that came off our boat and arrived at the same dealership in Ontario, CA 4 days after the Tirranna reached port.

Sheesh, about time. Been driving mine for more than a week now. Did you ever get any explanation on why it sat so long? Maybe some cheeky Brit filled your trunk full of drugs in Southampton and customs discovered it. Well, whatever happened, at least you get it tomorrow. Enjoy!!!

Yea, THAT would be a story to tell... much better than if there was damage during shipping that needed to be repaired. Regardless I'm just happy it's here!!
