It sounds incredible. This thing hisses and snorts constantly. I had the BMS originally, but sent it back due to the unfortunate CEL. I thought that sounded great, but this thing is borderline outrageous! Because of where the intake is positioned, you can hear every breath from the drivers seat. Sometimes you get a weird whistle if you cruise at constant low revs, but it's part of the experience. Some may think it's too obtrusive, but I LOVE the sounds. Can't accurately comment on performance improvements, as I didn't Dyno beforehand, but the sounds certainly make the experience FEEL faster, and that's what I was looking for. None of these CAIs are going to give you an appreciable boost in power. But if you are at all introverted, don't open the hood around a crowd of enthusiasts! It is sexy as hell! It's worth every penny to me.

I absolutely love it! It sounds amazing. I also installed the M performance exhaust at the same time. You can hear it so beautifully. I'm in love. Definitely worth the money. My best friend had eventuri for his M4 that's what sold me on it.

No pictures of Red Carbon/Kevlar M2 intake but here is an Audi RS5 and BMW M4/M3 kit in that material.

Any idea how this set up would handle falling snow getting blasted into the scoop? My M2 is my daily and I drive snow/rain or whatever conditions. Wondering if this may freeze or ice up when warm from city driving and then hitting the highway and increasing speed and sucking in powder snow. I'm up in Calgary Canada.

I'm sure anything is possible, but as the scoop and inlet does not have a direct connection with the filter apparatus, I would theorize that if it inlet gets clogged, the filter would then just draw under hood air which is heated.

Relatively easy. Only difficult part was removing the front grille for the air scoop installation.
