Stock Exhaust with NO tips
I really like the look of the BMW performance exhaust without the CF or titanium tips. I dig the raw look. I was wondering what the stock exhaust looked like without any tips on it. Does anyone have a pic by chance?

UGH.....well that looks terrible. Thanks for the pic though. I was hoping that they were just slip on tips like most BMW's and I could just take them off. Oh well.

They do slip on, this post shows he had them cut off to fit aftermarket cabon tips. Not representative of a std. Exhaust with chrome tips removed.

Ahhh. So......back to my question, are there any pics with them just removed as opposed to cut off?

that's the m performance exhaust. not the factory M2. I just tried pulling one of the tips off and it did not seem to want to budge an inch. Anyone know how to get them off? Without destroying them?

I think the stock exhaust pipes are larger at 70mm. The MPE is 60 something, dont remember the exact size. Search the M4 forum for the pipe size as they are the same as the M2 MPE.

After looking at that pic some more, MPE does look smaller compared to stock when i removed the tips but not that crazy of a difference. |
