When I called BMW they told me that the cars get projected for a completion week but it an actual date is not going to get scheduled until a couple of weeks in advance of the actual production so I wouldn't worry about it.

My car was configured with car play on 6/26 and it's still in 111 status with a week 33 prod.

From my understanding, car play can be retrofitted after the fact...this is what was told to me by my SA for my week 30 build. So i dont get why ppl are taking the chance of delaying their production week by adding this now?
I hope im not being fed a bunch of bs by my SA...

I don't know that anyone has confirmed the builds are being delayed? The BMW genius line operator guy still says im on for same week I was before I added it.

I guess we'll know for certain when someone takes delivery of a 6CP car.

CarPlay is retroffited free of charge in Canada!

CarPlay can be added after the fact 100%. its just software, none of the hardware is any different. I was told by my CA that if i wanted to add CarPlay it would delay production but it can be added at a later date if i decided to keep it off my build.

My order wa sent a couple of weeks after you, my dealer is even more retarded that yours

Mine is meant to be the first customer car, but I know they delivered one at the start of June and have their demobil hidden away.

Delivery is down for v34, but I have a feeling it will be sat on the West coast for weeks beforehand because every fucking swede is on semester till then. the rest of details are in the 'Swedish thread'.

Another update - called today and now I'm apparently back to "tentatively scheduled for week 37" (like I was before adding CarPlay). I don't know what they mean by tentatively but I guess it all is tentative until status 150, right?

I don't know who/what to believe anymore, but whatever I'm sure it will all work out soon enough...
I would just rather know right now and also have my delivery dates confirmed at the Welt...I need to confirm hotel/flights for the ED trip!

I was told that they don't know and my CA is my good friend that I grew up with. I still took the July production and I am hoping for the best that I can add it after even if I have to code it.
