OP, good for you. Represent if the music and artist impacted you. Music continues to die.
Wait, you're kidding right?

I never said anything about whether it was good or bad that my generation doesn't know anything about Prince. All I stated was a fact. Why are you so mad?

Lol, is this one of those 'well back in my day' kinds of attitudes?

Relax dude. I never said anything bad or that the mod was bad, all I said was a fact, that no one I know knows anything about prince.

Want me to apologize for being born in the early 90s? Jesus.
Your generation is right here I happened to live above a rock though. It's true, the majority of our generation could care less.

If you really like music/play music, you know Prince. Our blues consist of the Black Keys, our country is no longer an Outlaw pastime, it's rap music for people scared of black people. Our hip hop is weak. (Pop Music) of course there are exceptions.

It's pretty sad. All around shit show.

Long gone are the bands inspired by Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Elvis, Etc.....Hell, I don't know a single person younger than me that even knows who Muddy Waters is.

Prince was awesome - and a product of the Midwest.

As for the Millennials...well I am not surprised the average person of that generation wouldn't get it. If there isn't an emoji or text involved, they don't seem to understand...

I don't know how old Adem is but I'm on the other side of 25 and I know and liked Prince. I still remember the music video to Cream from the 93 MTV New year's eve video countdown lol he influenced a bunch of artists past and present.
