Wife spotted car mag cover at airport and was not happy - "You better not be getting a blue one".
Few months to negotiate or I will have to go with AW and then get a Viper Green wrap - "But you only said no to blue!" Wish me luck. |

But seeing it irl she stated: That's some kind of Electric Blue(like on the Mini) is it? ...and she really liked it. End of story. Cheers Robin |

Funnily enough my wife also questioned why am i getting blue, she assumed I'd be getting Alpine White again like my 1 series. I tried to explain that the LBB is not like your basic blue so hopefully she'll like it when she sees it in person.

Does anyone know how different the i8 protonic blue is from LBB? The i8 color looks nice (saw one today) and it's got a teal hint to it. Would be quite happy if my LBB m2 looked more or less the same

While I love my wife, she gets no say on my car colour.
Seems fair given I have no say on her clothes colours, purse colours, shoe colours, and the list goes on, and on, and on, and on...... |

I actually check with my two boys to get their views (because they get excited about the car) but the choice ultimately is based on what I want. My wife HATES my AY M4 but I still own an AY M4 Having said that, she never makes a big deal of it so it's not an issue.

I think protonic blue is more blue than LBB, although I have not seen it IRL. I have seen LBB in person on a X5M and a M2. LBB to me is hardly blue at all and should have been called LBGreen

LBB is definitely blue and not green. I don't know what people are looking at when they say it's green! I have seen LBB on an X6M and it's still BLUE but has a hint of green. Sure it's a lighter shade of blue, but it's not green.

There are purple blues (yuck) and greener blues. LBB is on the green end of the spectrum but it is definitely, without any doubt, simply blue. I think some people don't like shade of blue (that's fine) and call it green and overstate that. People have called my AY M4 green too. I can assure you that it is not green. It is yellow.
