Is that a valved exhaust I see? Should sound amazing on this car. I can't wait to start seeing & hearing these on the streets!

looks like a small M4 in white....
I think we are seeing why they launched this in ONLY long beach blue for promo material because it doesn't look good in the other colours, IMO. |

It looks okay in white and grey, but LBB is best at highlighting the car's design features (notably the fender flares). Otherwise it looks a bit bland. It would be great to see them offer Individual options for 2017...this car would look amazing in Daytona Violet.

Is it me or the exhaust lines don't even connect with the muffler!?

I'll take one just as shown but with a blk grill and cf tips. Looks nothing like my AW M4
Looks like they added the same dirt-attracting clear wrap in front of the rear wheels. Very noticeable with AW. Grim gets caught along the edge. Funny how these same comments about the car looking awesome then ugly depending on the pic quality and the wheels were made with the F8x reveal. Priced right, this is going to be a fun car.

AW looks good regardless if its with the winter setup or the 19s. If I go AW instead of LBB it will be because of the subtlety. AW would have been the obvious choice if BMW had chosen to throw a CF roof on this beast. Kind of sad considering i3's will be manufactured down the same line with extensive CFRP but BMW's M line car couldn't be bothered with a roof.

Black wheels big improvement, pity the side mirrors cant be replaced with M3/M4 mirrors.

Is it just me, or does the gap between hood and front grille appear wider than other panel gaps on the car? Finishing quality flaws like that show up more on white cars.

Does anyone know the purpose of this black "mount"? The size, shape, and orientation make no sense to me. If the "mount" is there at all, it should be vertical, not horizontal. Every time I see it, I want to remove it.

The interview with the M performance guy at SEMA mentioned that it is not valved like the M4 where it is opened/closed depending on revs but remote controlled to be either open (race mode) or closed.

"Zero" production test mule. That's one reason why the factory also builds these test cars... to fine tune assembly on the cars BEFORE production actually starts(SOP)

Yet another reason to get the M2 in BSM.
