LBB looks a little like the Honda CRX VTEC blue I used to own in the early `90 ties. The blue was very difficult to capture, it had different shades of bluish and greenish into it, all dependent of light conditions, I really did like it.
The turquoise looks just great IMHO on a small sports car, I have to admit I want to see it first IRL on an M2 although. Last edited by Romo; 09-07-2015 at 02:42 PM.. |

That's would be like trying to describe what Phoenix Yellow looks like. It's completely different colors depending on the lighting

Phoenix Yellow: baby diarrhea. But I still love it! Not the diarrhea, the colour of the car.

Right exactly. Sometimes it's baby doo doo, sometimes it's piss yellow, sometimes it's gold, and sometimes it's a really nice yellow.

LBB is polarizing: there will be those who like it and those who dislike it. Will cause you to choose sides rather than remaining indifferent.
It's like those Porsche 911 GT3 RS colors green and orange: maybe you're reluctant to choose it for your 'regular' car, but you may like it on that particular car. Maybe LBB suits the M2 quite well when seen in the flesh, but maybe you won't choose it for a 'regular' 2er. Maybe it will grow on you as time goes by. Personally, unlike Valencia Orange, I know already that LBB won't be an 'instant like' for me. If I would be on the fence for an M2 (no new car on my radar as we speak), I would opt for Mineral Grey. But I'm open minded, so may change my point of view in the future.

I`d like to see all 4 color IRL before making a final judgement and decision.
The Mineral Grey seems to have a purple hue, which I personally don`t like, surely I will have to see it IRL. The most logical alternative for me would be Donington Grey, but not M2 available of course, but it looks just fabulous ! The LBB does trigger me the most for now, just some patience and it will be here to be judged. BSM and white are safe choices IMO, but to be honest, I`m a little bored by those (having owned a E92 M3 and E82 1M BSM ) time for change ! |
