The ride in seemed noticeably quieter on the drive in this morning. Definitely worth the cheap prices you can get them for on ECS, especially if you order something else.

Just did mine yesterday, these are certainly inexpensive and easy to do, though I can't tell if they made much difference at all.
I just looked at my E86 and she has something similar fitted, and my E65 did as well. |

Installed these last week and they've made a noticeable difference in road noise.
Definitely turned the volume down a notch and only took ~20 minutes for both sides. |

I found these on eBay from a place in Slovenia, that shipped to Australia. Just search for the part numbers. Received last week, and will hopefully install this week.

I have a 2019 M2 comp. I just installed:
- Sealing side panel, left: 51487300693 - Sealing side panel right: 51487300694 I find the difference is very noticeable. Has only been ~20km, but very impressed with the road noise reduction in the cabin. Very impressed with my $78 (cad) purchase. |

The difference in number of sound insulating items between the M240i and M2C is a little surprising...

Those with door seals added, do you track your car and if so how's the temps compare before and after fitting these seals ?

I did a few months ago and also noted on my build thread. Less tire noise and overall sound decreased. I need to code out ASD.

I just want to add that, I had these on my M2 LCI from the factory but not on my M2C. Added them. Install is truly ridiculous unless you have baby hands. Even with one side not being perfect and sticking out a bit at the base, I immediately noticed the improvement in road noise reduction. I'd call it maybe 30%? Didnt quite cut it in half but certainly a noticeable change.

I added these and I found a noticeable difference. That said, it wasn't a major noise reduction. For the price of the foam strips, it was certainly worth it.
I found a couple of Youtube videos and DIY instructions on these forums that helped me put them in. Taking out the active sound made more of a difference. I'm probably going to look into adding some of the other sound reduction parts from the regular 2-series as the main road I drive to work on every day is very loud compared to other pavement surfaces. |

guys, what's the part # for the M2 LCI? Is it the same for the M2C?
link on ECStuning says "it does not fit". https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/51487300693/ |
