New Cup2 tires and weird ESP behaviour
I have a M2C with brand new Cup 2 tires on stock rims. I also have 4S tires on second rims.
Cup 2 are: Michelin Pilot Sport CUP 2 245/35 ZR19 93Y XL, (*), DT1, Semi-Slick Michelin Pilot Sport CUP 2 265/35 ZR19 98Y XL, (*), MFS, Semi-Slick I did a test drive and ESP is constantly breaking and light goes on at light steering wheel movements and car behaves weird. Nothing which I came across until now with any other tires. I tried to check everything and later switched back to my 4S wheel set and the car is totally stable as before! So definitely the new tires! What can be wrong with the tires? It is not my first set of them on M2, but first set with this markings. Before I had MO on the front. Would appreciate any help. |

Not sure, but wondering why you didn't get the BMW Star Spec version?

They need to come to temp and also need to be broken in

Did you buy these as a set? They should not have different fonts. The top pic is correct for BMW star spec (smaller font with chequered flags).
Bottom one kind of looks like a knock off, of the Cup2s used elsewhere eg Porsche…..? |
