How Satisfying is Autosolutions SSK/ UCP/ CDV?

I've got the Autosolutions SSK, UCP, and CDV ready to get installed, but I am now at a stage to prioritize funds for a wedding, house, financial stability. As I am nearing my 3rd year with the F87, I was hoping I would keep this as a forever weekend car, but planning a marriage, house, and possibly a child in the next couple years, I've settled on letting it go in the next year or two and getting into a more practical G80, X3M, or Macan.

That being said, are the SSK, UCP, and CDV mods worth doing to keep the car for about a year? Parts costed just under 1K, I imagine labor would cost about ~700. Also when time comes to sell, I think parting out would cost more, let alone lower resale value.

I think these are the last mods for the F87 for now, just looking for additional input!

After 3 years stock and looking to sell in the next 1-2 years, I would leave it stock.

Although I do agree in most circumstances stock cars are more desirable than modified cars, if you sold your car to an enthusiast (or not a first time BMW owner), I think SSK, UCP, CDV will be a wash on resale, with the benefit of being able to enjoy the improved shifting for the next 1-2 years until you unload it. It wouldn't be worth parting it out IMHO.

Sell the package here on the forum. I'm sure someone will buy it to save the hassle of ordering from separate places and waiting.

Id sell the parts after you sell the car. Life has a way of changing quickly and you may find that you keep the car.

You could also try to negotiate the sale of the parts to the new buyer outside the sale price if your selling privately

Thanks for the input, I think if I hold onto it, I'm forever going to contemplate whether to get it installed lol. Either get it done now, enjoy, and don't look back, or let it go and start winding down the M2.

Part of me says, this is probably the closest I will ever get to owning a "modern classic" BMW with a MT. My goals for the F87 was to make it an Enthusiast Driver's car with maximum visceral "feel" for a daily, and considered the shifter/clutch package was the last step in this.
Other part of me says the glamor will all just wear off in a month or so, much like all the other mods, and money is better spent elsewhere. Especially now that I am looking at a G80 or Macan GTS to be the next step, all this seems wasteful?

That all being said, would you guys consider this mod more worth it than coilovers or full exhaust?

The shifter is a huge improvement in my opinion. The UCP and CDV were minor improvements.

The combination of the three make the car much more enjoyable to drive in my opinion.

I think you have already decided. I feel if you are not 100% excited to do a particular modification, especially if money is a factor, you should not do it.

I drove a car with the UCP and didn't like it, YMMV. I've also had manual BMWs for many years and I'm used to the upper position.

The shifter can be interesting. I don't like it to be too short. Precise stock travel would be great. I found an increase in precision by switching to the Turner urethane shifter bushing, but I realize it's not compatible with all kits, mostly stock ones.

CDV is minor but nice. It's an inexpensive/free mod.
