Plus 1 sizes on Cup2 - Anyone tried these?

I was thinking of ordering a set of these. They appear to be Mercedes star tires. Has anyone tried em? It's the only option that shows up for +1 track tires. I'm planning on fitting these to my 763M's as my current Cup2's are pretty shot after a second full trackday at Thunderhill.

I can't speak for Cup 2's, but I have done size up on my M2C on same wheel size/diameter/offset with zero issues on MPSS tires. To be clear, suspension was completely stock at the time.

Tirerack's website has detailed data on actual measured widths so if you compare to MPSS in same size vs Cup2 you should have good info.

Love Cup2s(180) but look at Cup2 Connects(240), the replacement of Cup2. Also, look on onlinetires.com, their pricing blows Tire Rack out of the water. I used them all the time.

It doesn’t appear that the connect is available in the right sizes. Also, I checked onlinetires.com, and their pricing was only $50 less. Cheaper, sure, but not by much.

I've considered getting these, but wasn't sure if the 275/35ZR19 would be suitable for the rear of the M2

It was developed as a front tire for the Mercedes-AMG GT R

Might work just fine

You should try it out and let us know

I am considering them as well with my 763M and MP coilovers with std drop and alignment. But I don't want to risk any rubbing on the track so I'm not sure if I should go +1 or not. I'm not planning on camber plates and I don't want to run spacers.

I'm running M4CS 763M wheels and tires, lowered on Ohlins and no rub with 255/35 19 front and 285/30 20 rear. 275/35 19 in rear is no problem.

Since these are manufacturer specific tires (i.e. MO1 and MO, Mercedes), and someone already mentioned the 275s were developed for the front of the AMG, it's worth looking further into using them as you'd like. Different OEMs can have widely varying targets that they want the tire manufacturer to focus on (i.e. like how some have tread compounds where the initial 2/32s is very sticky -- works great when supplying new cars to be tested).

This is a worthwhile read on the Cup2: https://motoiq.com/not-all-michelin-...ated-the-same/
