I would think 2. The trunk is wide and deep. You could probably stack them. If you fold down the rear seats, two laying flat.

The G30 and G60 have similar trunk volumes, though through slightly different dimensions. My G30 with the factory spare taking up about 3 inches of height in the trunk. Still it fits only 2 of the large spinners you would check with the airline with room for smaller items. Definitely not 3 and has nothing to do with the lost height of the spare tire.

Also estimate 2 suitcases because the trunk is a bit more angled than the G30.
