Where are those "the car has limited power before break-in service" folks |

You are the first person I see to dyno their car less than half way through the break in period. Still not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
410hp 433tq on break in fluids, would be interesting to see if there are any changes after you get the first service done.

OP is in the unique position to be the first one to confirm or disprove the conspiracy!

I am liking the numbers. It confirms why the M2C was feeling just as quick than my M2 with multiple mods.
Thanks for sharing OP!

Nice numbers. Only a touch below non zcp m4 numbers?
OP what tune do you plan to run? I’d love to see another stock dyno with 2-3 gallons of e85 in the tank to see how it responds. |

Break in period is a myth, the engines are good to go from 0 miles on the odometer, you think bmw or any car company would put together a 60k dollar car and ship it out the door not being "broken-in"?

Consider reading the manual. If that was the case they wouldn't have an entire section dedicated to break in. The car also has special break in fluids specifically for the first 1200 miles.

Break-in is a myth, they put a whole lot of bullshit in the manual, bmw M performance cars get sent to skidpads, road courses, autocrosses with 10 miles on them. They get trashed till about 7k miles. No problems. |

Why would you have a speed limit for break-in? You aren't breaking in the tires, or the wheels, you're breaking in the engine right, the engine cares about RPM and Load only, not mph lolol |

What some folks believe happens after the dealer simply changes the oil and reset the counter at the 1,200 mile service:
