My wife's M2 LCI is black and when clean I must admit I get jealous cause it simply looks the best. Now I will have to look at those Carbotech 1521's for my comp cause the dust on my 763 m wheels accumulates rather quickly after cleaning them...really pisses me off...

The pads were one of the first things I did. The brake dust was so bad, after 50 miles my wheels were a shade of brown!

Now after about 500 miles there is just a very light dust and it isn't brown like the OEM's were. The best way I can describe it is the wheel color looks the same, but the way the light reflects off of it has just a little less shine. This is again after several weekends of driving and no washing at all.

I installed the Carbotech 1521’s a few weeks ago. The reduction in brake dust is significant, as compared to the OEM brake pads. Regret not changing them out on delivery day lol

Lots of good information in the forums of the install process if you are going to tackle it yourself. I would recommend transferring the rear brake shims from the OEM pads to the 1521’s to avoid the “clunk” you would experience when going in reverse.

I still believe long term that these will have a resurgence and go for above MSRP even for moderate mileage examples.

I find it kind of interesting that in the first half of the year it was Misano, after Misano, after Misano being sold. Lately the auction sites and Autotrader have primarily HS and AW cars listed.
Meanwhile, here I am with my car collecting dust lol. I drove my car today for the first time in a long while to take some pics. Don't get to drive it much anymore. Lots of travel for work and when I'm home don't get to drive much.

Thinking of what the best platform to list would be ahead of the next two-door thing to collect dust. Have an incoming G82 M4 CS (Riviera Blue on CCBs) wheneverthefack that gets a build date.

5,300 miles. Manual, Misano, Black wheels, Steel brakes, PSS.
Full XPEL wrap by Detailers Domain with ceramic on top. Only properly hand washed with Nanlolex products. Masterblaster dry. It got more washes than drives lol.

Delivery mileage example currently for sale. I've see this car in person and it's perfect (as you'd expect). Curious to see how quickly it moves at this price. https://www.qautocenter.com/details-...8l7h00063.html

At that mileage you almost can't drive it. You need a collector who is willing to make that sacrifice and a dealer who can carry the inventory until that person comes along.

We never know the transaction prices when dealer cars move but similarly priced CSs with more miles have been sitting with EAG for a year+.
