REMUS is only offered in Catback for the N55 M2.
Its offered in axle back for the M2 Competition.
Catback replaces the stock midpipe with a lighter one with a better air flow (for more power if there is any left to be extracted and more sound).
With everything being equal except the midpipe (axle back vs catback), the catback provide a more aggressive sound with a deeper growl.
