The wheel hop on cars with IRS happens on the edge of traction so it depends on your driving style. If you launch carefully and avoid wheelspin you'll be ok. If you just dump the clutch at high RPMs you will get no traction at all and no wheel hop. But if you end up somewhere in between it could happen.

I've never dumped the clutch in this car, and never will. The hop happens for me when I'm leaving the car wash, or when it's wet outside. I turn all the nannies off expecting to get some nice low-speed sideways action and I get hopping instead.
