We have installed a few Gintani kits now with great success for the S55.
We indeed had a 6spd 18 comp no mods spin the hub, 1,800 miles...
While in warranty I wouldn't worry much about the hub, others have mentioned that this is a very small amount of cars on the road but we also don't know the exact amount of cars affected since we only have what is stated on the forums.
