Just to provide a little more input on this.

I just ran a 2 day weekend at Laguna Seca. Saturday I ran new MPSS fronts and almost new MPSS rears. On Sunday I ran new R888R front and rear, same tire size in both cases.

Track temps conditions were close between the two days.

I ran on avg ~2s a lap faster on the R888R than the MPSS. The car is completely stock other than pads/fluid - could have maybe done better with some stiffer springs/shocks with the stickier tires.

Other than that R888R felt good to me, ran them around 36 PSI hot - will report back with more info as I drive on them more.

Road noise is terrible.
