Assuming your car has not been updated (high likely), then all changes are positive. :-)
Your exhaust will actually be louder as the ECU opens the flaps more than the OG software. Traction is better, steering is better etc.
The ASD (active sound = sound augmentation = fake sound inside the car) is probably going to be slightly quieter, but it is still there and is actually a much better balance between being complimentary vs. intrusive.

Don't know. Unlikely unless you go through a lot of hassle doing it yourself (due to inter-module dependencies). No way that a dealer would do it.

May be - you'd have to ask. Recommendation is probably to get BMW to do the software update, and then specialist to tweak it.
