Not to hijack - but I had placed an order last week for an M2C through a dealer I’d worked with before. I wanted to do one more ED.
Order was in, ED paperwork was submitted early last week and then poof. The order was gone on Thursday from my sales guys system and he suddenly had zero allocation. Apparently it came down from BMWNA.
He lost another ED (in addition to my own) as well as his wife’s build. From what I’ve gathered, anything ordered after may 1 was subject to the purge. I’m guessing it’s rebalancing based on factory shutdowns and Covid. Regardless, it sucks for the consumer. Still am waiting additional info from my guy, but he said he thinks the ED option is off the table.
