I test drove the 1M in 2015 when I got my 981 CS, and it was a lot less impressive then as compared to 2012 when I first drove one. It's great for what it is, except the face, but the world spins on and gets better. Always liked the M2 over the 1M. The CS should be on a different performance planet, and it should be (no dig at the 1M). |

The 1M is nearly decade old, I would fully expect more recently designed cars to perform better at every level
Unfortunately, these days many of the new offerings leave that connected visceral driving experience out.
The 1M is special in that it is simple and straight forward...no frills, no bling...but, incredible driving experience.
