As an engineer, though not mech, I would love to know what they specify or do to achieve this on so many different gearboxes, even from different vendors. The ZF in the Z4M is even worse going into 2nd than most of the Getrags in the other M cars. Almost seems like it must be drivetrain, ratio, or mount related.
