I did some digging for myself.
The top plate for the S55 cars is 3 bolt and at a different angle than ours. The plates provided by ST include a mysterious 4th hole that isn't used by any S55 car as far as I know.
I broke out the caliper and did some measuring:

Based on this, I'm confident they'll work just fine. Springs may be slightly stiffer but dampening adjustments should help cope with that
