Don't know about ST, but I would imagine it is the same as other Coilover manufacturers. I just ordered Ohlins MP40 which was advertised as F8X (M3, M4). Some sellers advertised them as M2 also. The newer Model number is MR41, which fits M2,M3, and M4. Wanted to be sure they would be OK, and was informed by 3DM Suspensions where I ordered them that they would be fine. Also called Ohlins USA and they confirmed that there was a model change to work with all M2,M3 and M4's. They told me the older Stock advertised as F8X would work on my M2. The only difference in Model numbers was they added a few more threads to Damper Body for lowering M2 even further, which I was not interested in.
