Nope! This is my first BMW since my 2005 e46 M3 coupe (which I STILL regret selling to a buddy).
I gutted that system, but it was a nightmare since BMW used this weirdo differential balanced ground system with their head units (I kept the OEM headhunt since I had a V1 display running on it with a StealthOne adapter)-- I eventually had to have Zapco make a custom interface to make the headhunt work with their amps.
This time around, I'm just letting the pro's figure it out. BavSound has a very good reputation, and they've been great to talk to. I *really* need to get the speakers and the soundproofing installed on the car! |
