Ive had the same noise happen a few times within the first 5k miles. I do think its the same issue as the M4 with stones getting stuck in between the rotor and heat shield. Ive even had a rock get stuck for about a mile which made a constant rubbing noise. Just bend the heat shield back on both sides a tiny bit and you'll see some rocks fall out. Haven't heard the noise since!
