I'd say your car is too low.
Mine is lowered on KW v3's (3/4" front 1/2" rear) with 255/275 tires and 5mm spacers so the tires stick out 10mm more than stock and I've never rubbed, even under hard compression. Granted I have the 437m wheels, but they are exactly the same dimensions as the 788m wheels.
