Not really. It would mean changes to their entire production line. Decision doesn’t bode well for individuals thinking a carbon roof is coming from factory on a possible CSL. They obviously had second thoughts about something and just decided to offer it in parts department. |
Of course it is a change...but not that much...if you look at a production video, they could just leave the roofskin off on such an order and do it at later stage as they install other individual ordered parts...or even just have a robo supply putting the carbon roof instead the normal one...apparently just glue and 4 bolts...so not that much more change than building an M2 instead of a normal 2er
But I agree...sure they have some thoughts...and probably we will know at some point .
