Because you want to enjoy it and consider driving fun as a 'return on investment', holding its value for
you. Keeping toys inside unopened boxes for resale purposes, is kinda sad. We all die someday. "Yeah, he had cool cars but he rarely drove them because he was worried about depreciation. And he never married because he was afraid that his partner would grow old, just like he did as a matter of fact, so he remained single."
