I've never had alacantara. Does it have a spongy feel or is it still firm? Some say it can act like a sponge if you are not wearing gloves ie your Palms get sweaty.
I play a lot of hockey and despite showering etc that hockey glove smell can linger on your hands for a bit-wouldn't want that transferring.
