I have driven the P4S, Trofeo R and Nankang AR-1 on track and the Trofeo R and AR-1 beats the P4S by a long shot if you look at feel and laptimes in the dry. In the wet the P4S plays with the others.
If you are looking for a "cheap" trackday tire for fast laptimes and great feel in the dry there is no way around the Nankang AR-1. They are the best bang for the buck trackday tire at the moment in my eyes. I will buy more of them for sure!

AR-1 doesn't seem to have a great selection of sizes. And I can't find a place to buy them here in the states.
