My two cents LAX01. The version that we Mexicans receive is the same as the European one and since Europe will always get the preferred treatment, Mexico just rides along hence the earlier deliveries. I honestly don't think it has to do with anything else such as market size nor things like that. If anything, the US is BMW's biggest market.
There are also additional pros that we benefit from such as aesthetics and more lenient safety requirements.
