So you have a modified car that you're comparing to unmodified cars? And who cares who you dog, someone is dogging you...not everyone has the same skill.

What's really modified though? the s55 comes stock on the m3c with more power than it does on the m2c. arguably it was originally designed and engineered intended to make as much power as it does in the m3, not the retuned m2.
I know stage 1 is more power than stock m3, but it's like if an m2c's s55 was making as much power as the motor did when it originally came out, how modified is that really? Any way you slice it the m2 with the s55 and it's cooling system is making a lot more power and doing it consistently because it stays cool.
