I went with M Performance Ornam. grille black high gloss side, M PERFORMANCE:

The M2 "wing" is gloss black and the backing is matte black. I just swapped the gloss M2 wing with the stock chrome wing. Didn't mess with the matte black backing at all (no dental floss / fishing line / Goo Gone etc).
