The M2 at FoS had a decat. The safety car has a decat and an empty backbox. It is a dummy.
I am in the passenger seat of that M2. When we were revving it in the paddock, I was explaining the driver how to rev it and what mode to engage to get the best sound out of it.
I also had to tell him how to disengage DSC completely so that he could do the donuts and burnouts. The thing was on Cup 2's so not much smoke in the end.
