Love the look and sound of the QV but there's absolutely no way in hell I'd buy one outright, take the depreciation hit, and put myself at the mercy of the FCA dealer network. I'll ride the bus first.
So that leaves leasing. But even then, 36 months at the mercy of FCA...still not an appetizing proposition.
My plan, if that were the car I decided on, would be to bide my time until one popped up on Swapalease and do a short-term lease assumption on one. Get it out of my system, get to drive it, but without the long term relationship.
I just get the feeling that's a car you want a one-nighter with, but you don't want to put a ring on her finger.
