I just went trough a set of Cup2 on my M2, 9 track days and around 4000km.

Unless you really can't have another set of wheels and tires and need max performance on track I don't think it's worth it to run them.

They are way less comfortable than MP4S, the Cup2 as a very stiff construction. Every rock rock or pebble sticks to then, they are noisier, they hate cold, there not very good in the rain and they absolutely hate being at the wrong pressure.

In my case the wear I got was very uneven also. It's really a track tire than can be driven to and from the track. BMW really puts them on these cars to boost performance specs but 99% of owners will be much better served with the MP4S and for the rest, a second set of wheels with a track tire like NT01, A052, RE71, RS4 etc. make a lot more sens.

You can totally track your car on MP4S and have a blast, it's such a great tire. One could argue that the M2CS suspension will get tuned to take advantage of the Cup2, I doubt it but it remains to be seen.
