I put scrape armour on our M240 a year ago and looking at the bumper you cant tell it is there. Took about an hour and i had to drill holes. Not a big deal. Works great and i put it on because the garage my wife parks in for work has a dip i was worried about.
I plan on putting it on the M2 once we start driving more, its my understanding it will use the factory bolt pattern for attachment. I don't think holes will be drilled for it.
Either way, it was worth the cost for the peace of mind.
