Depends on the lighting conditions. During the day in good light there won't be an issue with visibility. In the shade or at night they definitely blend in more.

I really want it to stand out. I think of exhaust as functional jewelry for car. Why is your friend switching from chrome? He doesn't like the look?
I like the straight tips but also like the slant cut carbon. Confusion confusion.
