Did you guys use locktite on the adapter? I find with the alan wrench type locks it tends to weaken over time and it'll shift and wiggle.
Also anyone contemplating the slammer shift knob should get it. I've tried a lot of their shift knobs and slammer/slammology is my favorite so far for the heavier shift knobs.
