You should spec the car out exactly you would want. Then decide on a % off you're comfortable with. Keep in mind, your number should include taxes as well. Then, I would email as many dealers saying this is my out the door number, if you agree, I can sign the papers right away. Usually the CA will come back with another number, you can decide whether to accept or be firm on your asking price.

The key is to provide the OTD number, can't stress that enough.
