I never considered the c8, due to the no manual thing, the various delays and the inevitable mark ups.
I did strongly consider a c7 grand sport, until one day I came across a young dude and his girlfriend parking one at a local theatre. Dude barely fit in the spot and had to have his girlfriend exit the car before he parked so she’d be able to get out.
I complimented him on his car, since it was exactly how I’d want mine specced. I asked him if he liked it and he told me he loved it but “don’t buy one as a daily driver”
It Seemed like sound advice.
