I have the same preconception about owning a Vette. I think I could get over that if it were the car that I really wanted. It is hard to beat the M2 series including M, M2C, M2CS, for an overall fully useable fast drivers car. Sometimes I take my car to HomeDepot, fold down the rear seats, throw out a blanket and load it up! Extra long items project between the front seats like a station wagon.
